Books I Love

  • Chuck Palahniuk: Fight Club: A Novel

Chuck Palahniuk: Fight Club: A Novel
Great book that is punchy, fast - paced, and at times funny. This book came out in the late '90's and was later made into a movie starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. Fight Club is a dark novel that gives a voice and heart to the most self-involved decade of our time-the '90's.

  • Sandra Cisneros: The House on Mango Street

Sandra Cisneros: The House on Mango Street
My favorite book in the world. It is a wonderfully written book. The author reveals a little truth behind this storytelling and gives the reader a series of vigianettes to reveal the innocence of a young girl who dreams of bigger and better things for her life.

Baby girl,
I am so excited just reading about your excitement and enthusiasm. I am so blessed to be your mom and I love your "girls" just as if they are my "girls" also. May God continue to use you and your team for His honor and glory at Cornerstone Church.
Love you lots,
Mom
